Is ebay safe?

Is this safe to buy from ebay? and is paypal safe? (link provided)?

  • I was thinking about buying this but I can only find it for an affordable price on ebay. (soul revolver has the real leather one for about 500$). If it is safe, is it worth making a paypal account?     There is nothing wrong with PayPal. I use it all the time. It is owned by eBay. I see no problem with the company selling the jacket. eBay is giving buyer protection. People complain about PayPay when it does not protect them from unknown sellers. Always look at the seller rating and the quality of the ad. It looks legitimate. As for the quality of the "plastic" jacket, who knows? It is being shipped from Chicago and not China at least but it is probably made in China. ℬ ℋ

I have been a member of PayPal and buying on Ebay for YEARS. I have never had a problem with it. I love PayPal because it acts as a middle man. In my opinion it's just as reliable as ebay.com itself. PayPal protects your information from the sellers seeing your credit card and most sellers accept PayPal. Some people only take PayPal and you can use it to send money to friends as well. I would say go for it. It's fast and easy. If anything you can take your card number off after you buy the jacket. What else are you worried about?

Don't just look at the feedback number, click it on and see what people have to say about them. They have one negative and three neutrals recently. Most of the complaints seem to stem from poor shipping practices. At least one claimed the pockets tore very easily. If you don't mind getting a cheap piece of junk then go for it. There's no way I would spend a hundred bucks on such poor quality.
