How to upload file to a server from Salesforce?

What is maximum file upload size on any server?

  • I wants to upload a video file on my website which has more than 1 GB of size... So i wants to conform that what is the file size limit before i register at any web hosting company... i am going to register at GOdaddy.com.. so please help me...

    DO NOT HOST WITH godaddy.. believe me, they are not what they seem on the outside. I wasted over a year with them. I moved to SiteServing and they have been awesome. I know for a fact that you can upload that size.. I had to do something similar.. so it will definitely be fine with them. Good luck!!

it is depends, some company allow unlimited size of file to be uploaded, some are not. It does not count how big or reliable the company is, use FTP to upload large files for shared server, or you can use web uploader for dedicated server / hosting. If you crash their service when uploading large files, trust me they will get your account suspended / terminated

Asit, While there are file size limitations on Go Daddy's WebSite Tonight and Quick Blogcast products, you should not have any issues with Shared Hosting.
