Does the honda 08 civic have a cd changer?

1999 honda civic cd changer suddenly stopped working?

• I have a 1999 honda civic that came with a cd changer in the trunk. The part number is 08a06-181-420. It was woking fine up until today. It suddenly stopped reading the discs or something i havent changed the cds or anything it just started flashing 0-00 when i push a disc number and before it would say 1-01 (cd number-track number) or 5-01 etc and now when i try it it just says 0-00 on all of them. Any ideas? Thanks

  Two possibilities, 1)Your shorted to ground, check the wires exiting the player for these.2) With a system that old, your disk driver is probably worn out.
