How come when I use my straightener my hair feels dry?

  • I used to apply heat to my hair everyday of the year without heat tamer spray and now I don't because I know it's very bad.Now I only use heat for special occasions or if I'm in a rush to get my hair dry. Whenever I straighten my hair or just apply heat to my hair it feels dry at the ends and that's where I put a LOT of conditioner and heat tamer spray. I take really good of my hair now. Why is it dry still?

Sometimes, putting too much heat tamer and conditioner there makes the heat burn it a little bit. Just stop using heat in all, do a natural way of making your hair look nice. Also, go to the boutique and ask them to trim off the ends. Vwalah! You have beautiful hair in no time. Good luck chica!

Okay to help with the dryness, when you shower use a lot of conditioner and leave it in for a couple minutes before rinsing.

It's still dry because the damage has already been done. You can put all the conditioner and heat tamer spray you want on it but it won't repair it.
