What is the IP of mail server behind firewall?

Ok i made a minecraft server i put my IP in the properties and i turned off my firewall?

• OK so my friend and i want to play together i gave him the ip like so 192.168.1.2:25565 i turned off my firewall he used add server and direct connect but he cant connect to my server i have the thing open so it work and im in it and he cant connect

  192.168.1.2:25565 is just your local IP address which means that he can only connect to that IP if he's at the same local network as you. Go to www.checkmyip.com and copy the IP address from there. That's your Public IP address which your friend need to have. Note that if your computer is behind a router (it probably is) you need to port forward the port 25565 so it goes directly to your computer. If you don't do this then the server won't work. Google "router name" + "port forward" and see if you understand it.
