Acer Aspire 6930 Screen Problems Please HELP!!!?
-
I have an Acer Aspire 6930. I have had it for almost 3 years. Today my laptop screen crashed. The Start up Acer screen will come up but after that the PC screen will go black. If the PC is connected to a VGA it will show up on the external screen but it will not show up on the laptop screen. If opened in safe mode the screen will show up but only on the external screen. Please Help and fell free to email me [email protected]

Answer:
Make sure that the laptop's LCD is set as the primary display (Control Panel/Display/Change Display Settings). You may also need to fix the display drivers (Device Manager/Display adapters/pick yours/right-click/Properties/Driver tab/Roll Back Driver). This doesn't sound like a hardware problem, more of a configuration issue.
