Sony Vegas Pro 11 wont render .mp4 files, when it used to before?

  • Suddenly, my Vegas stopped wanting to render mp4 files. I render with these settings: Video template: 4K 16:9 24p (4096x2304, 23.976 fps) Render settings: MainConcept AVC/AAC (*.mp4) > Internet HD 1080p & I get this error: An error occurred while creating the media file _____.mp4. The reason for this error could not be determined. My Sony Vegas used to render mp4 files, no problem. But now it wont and I don't know why. If it helps, the files I usually import into Sony Vegas are mp4 to begin with. This problem has been going on for a few days, so yes, SV and my computer have been restart. Please help, Misaki.

  • Answer:

    there was an update made by Sony Vegas , about few days ago and that update disables some functionalists in pirated version of Sony Vegas. You may have to call them and let them know that yours is a legal version and you paid for it so they can revert those changes.

convert them to windows format avi or wmv and render it the same, if your uploading them onto youtube then they might take a little longer, dont render them in HD because some people might not be able to view it cuz their using a cheap computer
