How to uninstall Firefox add-on using javascript?

How to edit any webpage in firefox and google chrome using some javascript script? Where can I find the script?

  • Okay, so I remember there's this script that I can paste into the URL of firefox, where then I would be able to just edit the text and stuff of the webpage I was on. It wasn't permanent, but it was fun. I don't know now where can I find this javascript thingie. Help?

  • Answer:

You don't have to download anything for most browsers to do this. IE press F12 to bring up the Developer Tools. The same for Chrome Firefox - you have to use add-ons - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/collections/mozilla/webdeveloper/ In Opera, Ctrl + Shift + I opens Opera's development tools, the same in Safari. Just edit the code, press enter and the new text appears in the main browser. The JavaScript code you're thinking about is... JavaScript: document.body.contentEditable='true'; document.designMode='on'; void 0
