Free unlock code for Samsung?

Samsung focus flash unlock code...?

  • i bought samsung focus flash(i677) which OS is Windows and just for AT&T from ebay, but it's locked. think the matter has been occured that the seller had bought it with 2 yrs of contract plan and sold it to me just after he making contract... i gather that i can buy UNLOCK CODE from ebay and that works, so I tried it from various sellers but no one said he has UNLOCK CODE. Is that possibly happens? OR, the device i've just bought is brand new and that hasn't been updated yet with FLASHING SOFTWARE which generates UNLOCK CODE? do you think its better for me to keep waiting for that to be updated if it has not been updated? I'm in korea and bought it (focus flash i677) from web ebay.

    Seeing how you're in Korea your best bet might be going to a cellphone shop and have it unlocked professionally. Another route would be to call AT&T and ask them for the unlock code, but that would probably cost just as much as taking the phone to a cellphone shop to have it unlocked.

if the phone is still under contract, even with an unlock code, its illegal for any wireless company to activate it until the bill has been paid by the original customer
