WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN THE GUY YOU LIKE HAS A GIRLFRIEND BUT HE LIKES TO HUG YOU?

theres this guy that I like, He has a girlfriend(that goes to another school) but he likes hugging me, and stares at me in the hallways. Dont get me wrong, he's not like those guys who like to mess around with a girl when there girlfriend is not looking, hes nice,sweet, and gental (not to mension a senior). He knows I like him alot, I just wanna know the meaning of the tight hugs he gives me, because it means alot to me, I really like him.
