How to install bulb on fog light?

How to install fog lights in 2001 Volvo S60, the car doesn't come with fog light?

  • How to install fog lights in 2001 Volvo S60, the car doesn't come with fog light I can get the fog lights from eBay, but What next?

  • Answer:

Remove the plastic covers where the fog lights go and you will see 3 holes where the fog lights go in. You have the remove the plastic protective cover(s) under the car to access the fog light brackets from under the car/behind the bumper. You will need the 3 screws and clips for each side. The clips slide on over the holes so the screws will hold when you install the lights. ( Did you buy aftermarket or from Volvo dealership? Because if you didnt not get the fogs with screws and other required tools you will need to go to the dealer and get it) Once the lights are screwed in, you will see the wire harness attached to a plastic clip on the inside of the bumper on each side close to where the fog lights are installed. You have to slide the metal clip (retainer - not sure what it's called) back so you can remove the wire harness/plug and attach to fog light. Then you reinstall/reattach the protective covers under the car. This is all I can remember(Need to install the fuse too) I done this before a long long time ago and after you done with installing the fog lights you will need to take this car to a dealership where they will download the fog light software for you. Good luck and a advice if you have a car jack it will make your life easier, bye cheers
