What's the cheapest European country to travel to for the summer?

Should I travel the country for the summer?

  • I just started a job. That's the only thing holding me back. I just finished my freshman year of college and I plan on going back I just want to know if it would be a good idea to just leave town for the summer and just go. I don't mind sleeping in my car or not knowing where I'll end up. I could even go visit my real dad in North Dakota. I just need to get out of Michigan. After all you only live once right??

  • Answer:

IF you don't need the money from your job, then go. Who wouldn't want to get out of Michigan?

since you have a job, i would say not this year. study destinations and save your summer job money. it is a cool thing to do, but as a freshman you are more impulsive and might do some s**t too far out. make some time when not working this summer for day or weekend trips and learn how to travel light and have fun on a budget. maybe quit near the end of summer for a week at a good destination like the beach or mountains to clear your head for sophomore year. the country isn't going anywhere and it's more fun to have some money saved when traveling
