How does the Left-Outer Join in Linq (C#) work?

I work in a private care home, which union should I join?

  • I don't know which union to join. I work in a private residential care home and as far as I'm aware I will be the only employee to join one. I need some back up with my rights and treatment at work. Thank you.

  • Answer:

    Unison!

Are you Aware that the US Government supplies you with a Fully Staffed Department of Labor to PROTECT your Rights from Unscrupulous Business owners? And you are Aware that the US Government provides you with a National Labor Relations Board to set Rules and Policies to Protect you and your Job? And that there is a US and State Agency called the Occupational Safety and Health Administrated whose ENTIRE Function is to Ensure that your Employer does NOT Sacrifice your Safety on the Job for their Profit? With a Wonderful Government SPENDING 100's of Billions of $$ of Tax Money you already Paid, WHY would you want to Pay a UNION a couple Hundred Dollars a MONTH to do the SAME Things? Kind of Makes UNIONS Obsolete and Redundant, doesn't it? Just Curious? SORRY, just saw the Flag, my bad...Please, disregard me, if you even Noticed me in the first place, lol, most folks never even know I'm here.

The Solution

Your rights and treatment at work are covered by law, not union rules. You don't need a union to present a grievance.

Do you work in a private residential home because you want to care for people or because it's a job? If you want to care for people, the last thing on your mind should be joining a trade union. They exist to impose the will of organised labour on the employers - and to pay six figure salaries to their senior officials out of the pockets of their members. Unions and care do not sit comfortably in the same sentence. Would you abandon your charges if your union called you out on strike? If the answer is no, don't join a union. If the answer is yes, you shouldn't be working in a caring profession.
