Which journalism major should I do?

Which is Better for Law School? Double Major in Journalism and English or in economics and political Science?

  • Both the prospects seem interesting. However, I have a feeling that the latter would give me more chances to get into law school than journalism and english? Is that true?

    The prospects for Law School graduates are so bad, and the competition for admission to top law schools is so competitive, that your main consideration should be a good fallback career plan in case you don't go to Law School. Of the four subjects you mention, only Economics has decent career prospects.

I'd go with economy and political science. Journalism is great, but if you're trying to become a lawyer, then you will be more involved with laws and policies than current news and language. Maybe you can take journalism as a minor?
