Where can I check a British's passport?

I have a 95 passport with check trans light flashing the code is 23 anyone know what that code is?

• i have a 95 passport and the check trans light is flashing i manage to pull the code by making a short on the 2 pin connector that will make the check trans light flash and tell the code just like a check engine light will the code is 23 and my manual doesn't have transmission codes anyone know what the code is ? its the check trans light that flashes and give the code not the check engine light so i don't think the check engine codes apply
