Answer:
Yes, it is best to read it in its original language. You get more reward. Translations will never be the same as the original, but you can read translations to get an idea of what the message is. I don't understand Arabic either, but I learned how to read Arabic first, and now I read the translations. Insha'allah, when I have time I am going to take classes on Arabic so I can understand the original.

only if they're reading out loud I think if they read silently it can be in any laguage, but ask in the Ramadan section they will know.

probably, they don't only utter arabic nonsense every now and then when talking about islam even though it's not a requirement, in addition they also feel that saying "peace be upon him" everytime somebody says "muhammed" and wearing a burqa despite no commandment in the qu'ran to do so is completely necessary! what a religion of blind copycats, eh?

Bhai the reason why people say to red qur'an in arabic is thats the closest language to allah subhana talah in these times but the main thing is to understand what allah subhana talah wants us to know it doesnt matter wat language u read in as long as u understand and dont mis interprit the meaning

Very few Muslims can read it in the original Arabic. Best is wait 'til you are older, then turn atheist, & migrate to a proper country.
