What are the best PC monitor brands?

Good Gaming PC for $1,350?

  • Hey guys, I have a $1,500 limit to purchasing a good pc for games and some compositing work. I was looking at some HP computers and some of Dell. But I'm curious what would run games like Shogun 2 Total War near max with as much units as possible? Could I buy a set up that could do that with this money? I'm not looking for a monitor, speakers, keyboard, mouse, lights, or any other BS. Just the machine. I'm not looking to build one either. What do you PC gurus think? Can I get a really good PC with this money? What specific specs should I look for? How much power should each component have? Should I go with the brands I listed? Should I cut my jugular with a sharp piece of glass? Shoot me some knowledge.

    U can get a excelent pc under 1300$ & the species r processor corei7 = 300$ motherboard asus rampage 2 one of the top motherboard form gaming = 180$ ram 16gb = 60$ psu corsair gs800w gaming series = 160$ cabinet (cpu case) for ultra gaming = 80$ harddisk wd 2tb = 220$ cd dvd writer lg,lite one etc = 50$ 3 blue led fans = 50$ graphics card gtx 560 ti = 300$ total = 1400$ Oops it crossed the line but this can play any game ultra to ultra settings without any problem buy it Best Of Luck

Ugh. You're not gonna build one? Why not? You can build a computer for at least $200 less than it costs to buy a prebuilt with the same specs. If you want games, avoid Dell and HP. HP is for everyday use and Dell isn't a gaming computer maker either. And if you only want the machine, you might as well build one. Get a GTX570, Intel i5-2500k, a nice TB HDD, 650W PSU, and a small case. And you can get all those for under $1000 total (If you build it. Over $1000 if you buy it prebuilt)
