My browser can't connect to the internet.?

It could be settings in your actual browser that are preventing you from viewing webpages. Check in another browser to be sure.. Chrome gives people problems every once and a while. If so, use another browser to research how to get into sure setting so you can set them back to default.

Try this Open IE and on the menu: Tools -> Internet Options Hit the Connections tab, then hit the LAN Settings button and UNCHECK "Use a proxy server for your LAN", then OK both windows. refresh the browser and both Chrome & IE should work. This is most likely your antivirus program (eg. McAfee Total Protection) blocking Chrome from accessing the internet. The firewall is blocking Google Chrome because the antivirus program no longer recognizes it - even though it is on the list of permitted programs. To fix this problem: 1. Click on Firewall > Settings 2. Click on Program Permissions 3. Click Google Chrome & the Delete button 4. Click the Add button 5. Browse for the Google Chrome.exe file (it should be in your User folder>App Data>Local>Google>Chrome>Application 6. Add the program and you're done! If none of this help then you need to contact computer technician to fix it.
