What Is DT?

DT &SC ...No it's not "rate my team" Q. What sh*ts you most about DT & SC the most?

  • I can handle a bit of bad luck, it’s just part of the game....but I am sick of having Giles tons warming my bench while Kruezer is on the field being lazy and does not perform to his potenial.Trading out players one week..only for them to score 100+ the next. In my case...traded out WhiteX, bought in Waite....and guess what happens...WhiteX out scores Waite..the very same week. Late omissions pisses me off too...and to make this matter worse, sometimes I don't have an emg to cover them. Captains role each week stuffs me up too...the obvious choice is G Ablett, but to win the car and the league...you gotta try to get one over your opponent....hense there has been 2 weeks so far...that I have completely stuffed up in my captains choice. From now on...IT'S G ABLETT ALL THE WAY. I reckon I have lost over 300 points already just in dud bench/captain calls alone. FYI....I'm ranked 2395 in DT and could have been in the top 50...if it wasn't for my stupid mistakes. SC..well that's a lost cause now. I can only try and win my leagues and not worry about overall standings.

    I have to agree with the DiMeth man - that piece of crap Poor Please Sir almost cost me a loss against WHAY who I swear has not updated his team since week one! Yes folks that's how freaking bad I am ... smacked around by a guy who hasn;t updated his team in 6 weeks .. but I'm still in the top eight of the Y!A dream team ladder, so what does that say? Unlike you Kev I've had Giles on my team from day 1. My figuring was for $200k, a guy that got 1/4 of the taps and a few marks would do the trick and ruckmen are totally over-rated tall boofheads who think lifting a knee up is "TECHNIQUE" ... w@nkers who I'd smack out ... well if I could just reach the f#ckers.. Captains? Captains? Well screw me down with a 12 inch nail! Every captain I've had gets injured or has an "off day". I've tried Stanton, Selwood (J), Ablett, Mackie and Sam Mitchell so far - each one has received some rare life threatening injury the week I picked the lame little t#rds. Kev, I could have been a champion too, if I knew sh!t about the players and wasn't a reactionary neo-nazi .. somewhat gay numpty with a penchant for little boys in blue and white suits ... but maybe DreamTeam has just got under my skin and I should relax and just "enjoy the game' ... ??? Late omissions? I have Porplyzia and Brodie Martin - you know the half assed team they play for don;t you? Any chance of a press release?

This is my first year at any fantasy Competition so I'm still learning the ropes. So far the projected team totals have pissed me off the most. I was expected to win the last two weeks and I have lost narrowly in both... So far I like Supercoach more just because I think their point scoring algorithm is a more accurate evaluation of your players performance but saying that I think the DT user interface is a crisper experience. What's your DreamTeam/Supercoach name BK2? 2395 is pretty impressive!

Here's a shortlist: Enright, Late Withdrawals, Losing my SC games by an average of 30 and a 1/2 points, Enright, kids being subbed, Enright, Cloke, Enright, Enright, Having Pfeiffer in my starting squad, trading WhiteX in and straight back out a week later, Enright, and picking the wrong captain in SC ... oh and did I mention Enright??? EDIT:- better say something positive ... yea, like Quandary, I've had Giles on field since Round 1. :)
