What kind of jobs are similar to a fish and game warden?

• I was dead set on becoming a California Fish and Game Warden, but I can't move 1000 miles to go to an academy. What other California jobs are out there that involve wildlife, law enforcement, etc? I don't want to only work in the city, that's why i'm not going for Sheriff's deputy or Police Officer. I checked out park rangers, but they seem to lack in the law enforcement part I want in my career.

Getting law enforcement officer jobs can be very competitive. Do whatever you can to make yourself the best candidate that you can.
