What are the highlights of your law enforcement career?

I am still looking forward to new highlights, every day, after 40 years on the job. It isa front row ticket to the greatest show on earth, I have run into every type of goofball and oddball imaginable. But I have also met and made friends with hundreds of nice, decent people. I have put Murderers on Death Row, I have saved many lives, I changed many lives, I have recovered hundreds of thousands of Dollars worth of stolen property, I have captured evil doers for almost every kind of crime you can think of, and probably a few that you would never imagine. I work hard, and given an honest effort every day. I hate crime, but I don't hate the criminals. I treat people the way they treat me, but I take no crap from anyone,and I am not "officer friendly", but always officer fair. Knowing that I did a good job is a highlight for any working man.
