Would this be a good amp for my Subs?

I am looking for 2 subs, a amp, box, cords etc what are some good subs that go good with an amp that beat?

• i want 2 subs and amp ^ idk what goes good together so need some help i would prefer 10s or 12 i want them to beat really hard but also to be good quality what are some good subs and amps in a price range of about $700. thanks for all the help.

  You have several options here, my first advise would be to get the amp first, you want to get something good quality there that's going to push well with descent tuning ability. Then once amp is selected and purchased you can see whats left in the budget for your subs. For your amp; make sure you get a 2-way so you can drive both your subs out of one amp. Second thing is the brand. If you have never heard of it before and it sounds really weird... there is a reason for that. Brands I would recommend looking into with the kind of budget you have are Alpine, Rockford Fosgate, Polk Audio. off the top of my head those are great amps and will all drive whatever you throw at them. Subs: you need to now look at you watt RMS and peak powers. The amp you bought is going to push more than it's labeled for if you get one of those three. apline usually pushes about twice as much as it is labeled for. Rockford Fosgate maybe 1/4 more and I'd say about the same for polk. Once you have what range of RMS and peak powers to go for you will narrow down the sub options. Top sub brands as far as I am aware are: JBL, JL, Polk Audio, Rockford Fosgate, and Kenwood. any one of those brands, your going to find yourself some serious thumping power. hope this was at least a little bit helpful!
