What to do with computer which has a broken monitor.?

My laptop's screen recently broke, can't see anything and now it encounters a problem at startup. When I connect it to my desktop monitor, I can't see anything still, in other words I have nothing to follow. Anything I can do, sorry this is kind of vauge. Thanks in advance!

If you connect to the desktop monitor and you can't see anything, you need to set you laptop display as dual display. On you laptop keyboard you have dual display function keys. Try pressing you will get the display in your desktop monitor. After a try if you are not getting may its damaged give for service.
