Are all the Dell HD laptops glossy?

Should i get a Dell Inspiron 15.6 inch laptop or an Asus 15.6 inch laptop? specs below. 10 points.?

  • Ok, I have this job mowing lawns, and by 2 months, im going to have enough money to buy a new laptop. i have my eye on 2 computers, a Dell Inspiron I15RN-3882BK and an Asus U56E-RAL9, and they are both 630 dollars, both Intel i5 processors, 750 GB Hard Drive, full keyboards, at least one USB 3.0, and 15.6 inch screen. from what iv seen in the reviews for the Asus, it had terrible sound quality, but it had an 8 cell battery, where the dell only had 6. i also liked the look of the Asus better, but the battery jutted out from the bottom, and people were saying it was uncomfortable. the Asus has a .3 mp webcam, and the dell has 1.0 mp. I am a student, and i was planning on bringing one of these laptops to college. I mostly soft-core game, like Minecraft and garrys mod on my compaq preario q62 (which all in all has been a great computer for the price, even though its a single core and costed around 400 dollars in 2009) but if was planning on going deeper into the gaming community, i would have to buy a better computer to play games like skyrim, fallout new vegas, civ 5. maybe Starcraft, (Not sure if i like strategy games) and steam games like portal 2 and other valve games. i dont know what graphics card the Asus has (dont even know if it shows it), but i do know that the dell has some very good gaming built into it. (Intel HD graphics 3000) both laptops are quiet, dont get hot, and both cost 630. oh and im pretty much new to comp specs, so i have to ask this... do most computers come with 2 or one processors? or am o thinking of cores. i have no idea. the reason why im writing this is because I dont see many YouTube videos on the dell, but good reviews on bests buy for both laptops. ill post the links for both laptops, and id like to know what laptop would be best! oh and im also a media guy. both processors are 2.5 GHZ and can be 3.1GHZ on turbo boost.oh i almost forgot, the Asus had 8 GB of ram and the dell has 6, but im pretty sure i can make it 8 (I probably dont even need like 4, but just in case). i could also buy a 9 cell battery from the dell website if i wanted to, i like to travel. or, if you think there would be a better gaming 15.6 laptop out there, then feel free to post! it would have to be like under 700 dollars. • Answer:

I would go for the DELL. The specs have little to speak, the overall build of the laptop is what matters. It is not a hardcore Gaming laptop, but you will be able to paly games in medium/high graphics level. Do not expect All Grpahics high. Intel HD graphics are not as powerful as it seems. But in your current budget i believe the DELL suits you best. Please note that you will have to take into consideration the Reviews on best buy. Also run a google search with the Model number etc and dig up info from there.
