NO PICTURES SHOW UP ON MY COMPUTER?

Pictures wont show up in my computer file 'pictures'?

• i go to look at my pictures on my computer, and i can see that i have the files the images themselfs are there, but i only see the default picture instead of the actual image. so to view any of my images i have to click on them and preview just to see what the image is, how can i fix the view so i see my image. i know you can change the file view like icon, thumbnail etc but they just show the default so.. help me? i dont know how to change it. im explored my computer and the settings and i cant find anything about it. i have a windows vista. it use to work but now... it dosent.

  Open Windows Explorer. At the upper right hand corner below the search box are three icons. The first one adjusts the view size, the second one is for toggling the view pane. In the first icon, select Small, Medium, Large or Extra Large.
