How can I create a webpage that is similar to a blog?

  • I'll do the best I can to explain this. I've got a website set up that I've hand-coded in html and css. I would like to create an article page that is similar to a blog. Where I can continually add more articles without having to hand-code them and they would posted to pages instead of me hand-coding them all in html. People have suggested switching to wordpress but I don't want my entire site to look like a blog and I would like to have the full freedom of building a webpage without having to use wordpress's gui. I hope I got my idea in a clear and concise fashion. All help is appreciated, thank you.

    Yes you can do it by coding. Simply as you have created other pages of the site - you can create the blog page by php coding and then you can upload all your articles over there - it looks like a blog - after publishing the article one by one. Best of luck.

you can keep your website as you like but make the article page link to wordpress. this way only your article section will be on wordpress. i guess this is simple enough and u might have thought of it already :)
