Why are Australians so racist?

• I'm Ken from Japan. I'm proud of my Japanese and Asian heritage. I have been in Australia for the past 8 months as an exchange student in the suburbs of Melbourne. I'm proud to be Japanese! I'm not looking down on Australia but look at Japan! Japan is a highly-developed country and our economy and GDP's the 2nd largest in the world, only after the US! Think of any products in your house, your air-con, your car, your car's tire, your food, or even your pet's food... There must be at least one thing that is made by a Japanese company! I'm very proud too that I come from Tokyo, one of the three financial centers of the world! Then look at Australia, a small country which is considered a rich country now because of its super small population of 22million, which I think the Tokyo Metropolitan area has more than 30 million! I'm not looking down or discriminating you Aussies but just telling you about the Facts! Yes, I know what my country Japan had done in World War II but I don't care and no one in Japan cares about it now!! Not any Japanese I knew of are racists! It's true we love our country very much and only use Japanese-made products but at least we don't look down on other countries! I know what Japanese did to Australians too in the war but it was the past! I don't care about it and I wasn't even born yet, neither were my parents! But the point is I don't think Australians discriminate me only because of that. Australians or "White Australians" as I have seen for the past 8 months discriminate anyone who is not freaking white/caucasian! You discriminate Asians so much! I was much lucky to be East Asian because Australians discriminate South Asians or Indians much more!! I have heard from people saying that white Australians are jealous that Indians are one of the richest and smartest in the country. To say, even more than half of the students at Melbourne High, is ethically Asian! But the fact that makes me confuse so much is "why do Australians think that we Asians are coming to steal your land???" This piece of land did not even belong to you Aussies! It belonged to Aborigines! Even now you discriminate Aborigines too! It's so funny and stupid! You were not even "indigenous" to the continent!! You just came here and colonized it! Many of your ancestors were prisoners too! So why do you bother discriminating other races here in your "HOME" because you are too even the "other races" in Australia! So why can't you just stop discriminating other races who come or live in Australia??? Why???? The aborigines should discriminate you!! Oh my god! I posted this because of all my rage and anger! But in 2 months I'll be going back to my civilized Japan. We have history, we have culture, and most importantly we belong to our land! Long live Japan! BANZAI!
