How to add a copyright to your website?

i have to make a website for a test in school, and in the test it says that i have to add a copyright. i added the C inside the circle with my name and 2012. is that all? Should i add something else to complete it or not?

Answer:
In general you do not need to do anything. You can add a copyright notice, that allows people who see the work to identify the copyright holder. You can take steps to prove that the copyright is yours. If you have a dispute with someone over the copyright you need to be able to prove that they copied you and not the other way around. The precise rules vary from country to country and I cannot quite make out which english speaking country you are in!
