Where can I find local college scholarships?

I'm doing scholarship hunts for college (I'm a sophomore in college) and I've been doing a lot of essays and applications for scholarships on fastweb.com. I'm afraid that the competition is too high for these scholarships, so I was wondering where I could probably find local or less competitive scholarships. I don't care if I don't win much, I just want to win something. every little bit helps. Thanks.

I don't like fast web either. I'd try www.scholarshipedia.org. You can also follow them on twitter @scholarshipedia and @scholarshipdog. They don't do advertising and you can sign up for them to send you an email with different scholarships.

Go to the local college website, check their financial aid website, and search under the term scholarship at the school's website. That should allow you to find out about scholarships that are offered only at that specific university.
