How many tanks can you have for scuba diving?

Why is Charles' Law important to the storage of oxygen tanks for scuba diving?

  • I have to create a scuba diving business for chemistry and one of the questions ask the importance of Charles' Law to the storage of oxygen tanks, and I have no clue. Thanks in advance :)

  • Answer:

This is only my thought process, think about the formula. It relates volume and temperature. Well if you have a higher temperature, you would have a higher volume. So maybe if you raise the temperature, you can increase the volume of the oxygen beyond its limits and cause it to not contain itself within the tank.
