If I plug my iPod in to a new computer can it catch a virus if the music has one?
-
I think some music I downloaded had a virus and I need to plug it in to my new computer to take those songs and put it on onother iPod and I was wondering if it could transfer
-
Answer:
Music files cannot contain viruses. viruses are individual files, so unless that file has an extension of a .exe or .bat, then it can't be a virus. Right-click on the file and go to properties to check its extension. Even if the song was a virus, it shouldn't be able to play the song.
