When is the next ipod touch coming out?

When is the ipod touch 5 coming out or an ipad nano?

• I'd like to get an ipod touch or ipad nano. But, it seems time for a new ipod touch to come out. When will that happen? I know there's no ipad nano. But, what if there is one and if its bigger than an ipod touch and looks more like an iphone I want it.

  They might announce something this fall, but I wouldn't count on it. The iPod sales have been going down every year because of the iPhone and iPad which is why last year was the first year they didn't update anything. It might only be software tweaks again this year, but perhaps they might put an A5 chip in the iPod touch. As for an iPad nano (or mini---the iPod touch is really the iPad nano), don't count on it. Steve Jobs hated the idea and figured that it would be an awkward size... being too small to thumb type on but too large to touch type on. It would also split the market and potentially be difficult to make a profit on because Apple's margins are so small. Kindle already sells their Fire tablet at a loss.
