Why do I feel a pressure sensation in my ears when I dial a number on my home phone?
-
When I dial numbers on a home telephone I feel a sort of "pressure" sensation in my ears, sort of like the feeling when one changes elevation...I notice this on most home telephones I use and its mostly only in my right ear. It happens when I use any home telephone at any location, not just in my home. Any suggestions on why this happens?

Answer:
You are pressing the receiver against your head too hard. It's a real phone not a cell phone, the transmission quality is much better, so no need to press it hard on your ear.

It could possibly be ear pressure it can usually be resolved by chewing gum, swallowing, or yawning, but it would be wise to have a doctor visit just to be safe..
