Africa, Tanzania Charity fundraising ideas?

  • Hey guys. Right, I'm going to be travelling to Tanzania in Africa for 2 weeks where I'll be helping build schools, clinics and water purification systems in the most remote and undeveloped areas. There is also a lot more I'll be doing but I'd rather keep this brief just to get to the point! Before I go I have until end of November to raise £3500 through fundraising which goes towards all the construction materials, food and clean water to supply. So yes, was wondering if there are any hardcore fundraisers out there who may have any good fundraising ideas that work well? Or anyone who just so happens to have an idea pop into mind, I would be very grateful :D I have got quiet a few ideas myself but I'm sure there are lots of things I could be missing. Tips and advice also would be great! Thanks all.

    Please contact the social welfare scheme department in the respective nations and i hope they will give more ideas and co-operation for the good cause since i have no idea about the people living in the respective nations.
