What is the difference between early action and early decision?

What a difference a new President makes, doesnt it?

  • During the Bush years, Bin Laden was the talk of everywhere. Country music stars making songs about him, he was used as an excuse for war, he was the face of terrorism, bumper stickers and shirts, republicans even tried tying Obama's name to Osama during the past election. Now all of a sudden, republicans say Bin Laden didn't mean anything. Okay. Secondly, to these people who are saying Obama didn't get Bin Laden, the seals did. No, of course he didn't put the bullet in his head, it's about leadership. President Obama planned this for months, when republicans wanted to focus on Iraq, then candidate Obama campaigned AND even during the debates said he wanted to take the focus on Iraq and put it on getting Bin Laden. President Obama was mocked and ridiculed for this by Fox News and the Right, republicans wanted to send more surges in Iraq. It's about leadership and making the right decisions. If McCain had won we'd still be fighting a pointless war in Iraq and Bin Laden would still be out there. While republicans were gripping over nonsense about a birth certificate, President Obama was planning the right course of action, the right place and time to get Bin Laden. It's not about how good President Obama's aim is with a gun, it's about leadership and decision making. And you want to say President Obama didn't get Bin Laden because he wasn't at the raid then no blame should be put on Bin Laden either I guess. After all, Bin Laden didn't train for for the 9/11 mission, Bin Laden didn't learn how to fly an airplane, Bin Laden didn't crash the planes into the buildings, yet he was blamed for 9/11. He was just the mastermind and decision maker behind it. But because he planned it, that made him responsible for 9/11. And because President Obama planned the raid, that makes him responsible for the Bin Laden take down. And one more thing, to the people who say Bin Laden was meaningless, tell that to the thousands of people who died on 9/11, tell that to the thousands of families who lost love ones, tell that to thousands of troops who died after the 9/11 attack in battle. I'm sure those families are glad they finally got justice for their love ones. If 9/11 hadn't occurred we would have went to war? .....Bin Laden wasn't important?.....PLEASE. Like I said, what a difference a Democrat President has made to republicans as for a Bin Laden.

  • Answer:

Well said. @Brayden "Republicans don't like Obama politicizing the event." Yeah, because no Republican President would ever use the death of a hated enemy as a means to win political points...

No Republican said that killing Bin Laden didn't mean anything. Republicans don't like Obama politicizing the event.

A new President sure makes a big difference in the LIES you choose, yes. > During the Bush years, DEMOCRATS said getting Bin Laden should be the be all and end all of our military policy, that ALL OTHER uses should be curbed to dedicate us to this one task. > CLINTON tied Obama's name to Osama during the past election. > Republicans ALWAYS SAID Bin Laden himself wasn't all that important. > President Obama spent two years trying to SHUT DOWN the program that got Bin Laden. He is STILL pursuing CRIMINAL CHARGES against each and every man who made that operation possible. Obama had NO ROLE WHATSOEVER in getting Osama except for being literally blackmailed into allowing it - according to WHITE HOUSE sources. > OBAMA tried to EXTEND our stay in Iraq. IRAQ didn't allow it and FORCED Obama to keep the BUSH timetable. > Again, President Obama fought long and hard to PREVENT getting Bin Laden. > President Obama DIDN'T EVEN KNOW about the raid until it was ready to go then he REFUSED TO ALLOW IT until his own staff threatened to leak that fact in October 2012. > Again, President Obama tried his best to EXTEND the war in Iraq. The WHITE HOUSE web-site BRAGGED OF THAT and still was even when Obama went on TV to announce "he" was getting us out.
