How to get rid of yellow nails permanently?

I have yellow nails for about 4 years i believe.Is there anything I can do to get rid of them?

• Almost all my fingernails are yellow. Not the whole nail just the tip of the nails. I went to dermatologists and they gave me samples of creams and stuff but nothing really worked. Once I got a shot in my thumb but nothing changed. They never told me clearly what I have. I am sick and tired of this. Most of the time I am depressed and I don't understand why can't i have healthy fingernails. There are situations where I have to hide my hands because I am embarrassed. I can never be myself. Is there anything so I could get rid of them and have healthy fingernails ? Thank you!
