How do I loose weight!? I hate the way I look, i'm so insecure.?

  • Well, first of all i'm 13 years old and I weigh about 138 and i'm 5'4 and I am a size 7 in pants. I use to be a 00 and under 100lbs last year in 7th grade. I don't look a size 7 now but i'm so incredibly insecure, I miss it when I was skinny, I could wear anything and feel confident, and now I don't even wear shorts thats how self concious I am. My body type is that if I try to loose weight, I can loose about 2-3 pounds a week. But the thing is I have tried to loose weight and its hard, food is a way I cope with stress and other things, I end up going with the diet for about a week and start giving up. I try starving myself but I can barley go a day without food. My parents are helpful with buying healthy foods, but I always find ways to eat junk from time to time. I know its not good for me, but I love food. ..I don't know what to do anymore, I want to be a 0 or at least a 3. I also tend to eat at night which is bad. How can I loose weight and be less hungry during the day? I want to feel confident..

    When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together. If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, which will lead to increase of weight, or muscle grow underneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet without exercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. For diet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If you don't eat wheat then you don't eat all those sticky, fatty goey cakes, you don't eat junk food, and you don't eat biscuits. But your diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising, start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack, disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target your problem areas for men and women. It's not necessarily to become a bodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help you to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

The best way to loose weight is to set realistic goals. Do not shoot for that size 0 waist right off the bat. You will only be disappointed and maybe give up. Set small goals, and keep monitoring your progress, every improvement whether it be big or small counts a ton. The best thing I can offer to you is to not feel insecure about yourself, accept who you are and accept that you want to become something better. Most of the time it's not only about diet and exercise, you have to really want it, you need to get your mind set on a goal. But as far as nutrition and physical excessive, I suggest you create a workout plan that is flexible with your lifestyle. Be willing to make sacrifices. Focus on cardiovascular exercise, like running. I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN WHEN YOU SAY YOU LOVE FOOD. Don't we all? But you can enjoy food, dieting is not about starving yourself or eating nasty no taste food. It's about eating the right food, at the right time, and at the right amount. Foods like, Grapefruit,green tea, and yogurt, can actually boost your metabolism. Which is great for loosing weight. Focus on eating foods with less saturated fats. Less calories. The goal is to take in less calories, while burning more. But again I stress, that you do not starve yourself. Being hungry all the time is NOT healthy. Drink plenty of water, and lay off the junk food. BE WILLING TO MAKE SACRIFICES. I wish you the best of luck.
