Is it difficult to transfer to NYU?

Could I transfer to NYU or a school in london after 2 years of community college?

• Basically my high school grades were awful. I had my personal reasons (which made me iss more then 2 months of school all together) but its still no excuse. I barley passed junior year (c's and d;s) but I did decent sophomore year (3.0 and 2.8) and I got a 4.0 both semesters of senior year (with very easy classes, though) I know that I can get a 4.0 in college no problem. If I were to get a 4.0 each semester for 2 years in community college, do you think I could transfer to NYU or a uni in london?

  Yes, getting into colleges is actually easier coming from a community college. I am only speaking for NYU but because they are private there is no course list that will tell you what to take and what they will accept. My advice, attend the best community college you can and get good grades getting all of you GEs done. Also for NYU look at the individual schools and determine what you want as your major, if you are transferring you will have to declare when you apply. See what they require of coursework for that major and try to get classes that relate as closely as possible, but ultimately they will decide if it can count for those classes. They do require your high school transcript but it is not where most of the consideration is weighted. Work hard and good luck
