How to set up a wifi connection on a used DS Lite?

• Hello, i just got a DS lite in February used from Gamestop, I'm not sure if that makes it more difficult to set up a wifi connection or not, but I'm having issues with it. The DS works fine, but it won't automatically connect to my homes wifi, I'm guessing that means that I've got to do a manual set up. I'm not very computer savvy so if you could make the set up as easy as possible lol. I don't know what a WEP key is or even what a router is, so if you could tell me how to find these things that would be great.

  1.go into the seetings option 2.go to internet options 3.connections setting 4.select connection 1 5.select search for an access point(it should find your wireless router,if not the you have to do a manual setup) 7.if it finds it, then it will ask you for the WEP key. (That is found on your computer in your network settings NOTE:The ds lite can only connect to routers with a WEP security setting if u have something else u cant connect) 8.If it did not find it then your gonna need to find all the information it asks for like the router key and everything(idk what kind of router you have so i cant help u with that) 9.save the connection then do a connection test 10.if u still have trouble go to the nintendo website it will tell u what i have in more detail
