Can someone help me understand this crochet pattern?

Answer:
You have been working to and fro in rows, working 1 treble in the top of the turning chain in the previous row. You now join the piece into a circle. When you get to what would have been the end of the row, fold the fabric round and carry on working the dc groups with a treble in between
