Can 14 year old's get jobs?

• I'm 14, turning 15 soon, and i'm at that point where i went the freedom to earn money and to know I have a little more freedom than I already do. I don't want to have to beg for money of my parents anymore. I would rather earn it myself so I feel like I have actually earned it. I was wondering if any one knows any places where a 14 year old turning 15 could get a part time job. And places I probably wouldn't have any chance in getting and how to approach it if I actually get close to getting it.. I'm going to be doing Work Experience soon, so an extra job would be great. Or if there's really any point trying to get a job and I should just wait until i'm 16. One or two jobs I was going to get is a paper round (a common one) And to see if the pub by me would be able to take me on. I know about the hours I can work, and with the pub option that It is a really low chance I'll get in, because of the alcohol. But I heard a 14/15 can get away with collecting glass, and washing up. But if anyone could help I would be really appreciative. Thank You :)

  Legally babysitting or a paper round, if you have family that run a shop, they could pay you cash in hand to stack shelves, but it's not really legal. You wouldn't be able to serve in a pub, as you have to be over 18 to sell alcohol (even though some shops let 16 and 17 year olds serve it, as long as someone over 18 says it's fine)
