Is retail work hard?

Is it hard to work in fast food? Compared to retail?

  • So I need a job, BAD. I'm 16 and at first I only started applying to retail stores but I haven't heard anything back yet so now I'm getting desperate. If I started applying at Pizza places would that be very challenging? You know.. to make Pizzas and other foods?

  • Answer:

Both jobs have their pros and cons but until you turn 18 your stuck with a low paying **** job. Retail can be busy at weekends and gets over flooded with people and restaurants are busy with hungry customers who if you mess up their order will btch at you plus restaurants don't have special positions. Like If you work at taco bell there is no such as cashier only but you will required to take orders, clean, and do other stuff. Retail on the other hand you pick your position and your in it. I would suggest retail floor positions because when you turn 18 you get jobs from car rental services and nice stores like best buy or hhgregggggg. Retail builts up your customer service experience Both are shitty jobs from dealing with impatient customers who think they are better than you just because they worked at a company long enough they make little enough for their age when in reality after college that's if u do go one you make their yearly income in a month... To smelly restaurants where you will get sick your pick

If it was "hard"....do you honestly think that they would be hiring teenage kids and paying them minimum wage?? "Hard" jobs pay well...brainless jobs pay minimum wage.
