Currently I am working a part time job, can I get a full time job, then later on a part time job? TEN POINTS!!?
-
Currently I am working a part time job at my job because I'm a senior in High School. But after I graduate this year, and summer begins. I was planning to ask for a Full Time job. But months later in the future I was going to ask for a part time job again because I signed up for some College Classes in Jan of 2013. So am I able to just switch between part time & full time as I need 2? Because June to December of 2012 I would have nothing to do, and would want a Full Time Job. But then in Jan of 2013 I would go to Community College up to a certain month (I Forget). So I would ask for a part time job then, till I finish my classes there, and ask for Full Time Again, then part time again when the classes start again the next year. So my FINAL question is... Can I switch between part time & full time job at my work? Or would something like this be annoying to my boss, or not a really big deal, and this is done all the time? Because I'm just not sure. THE BEST ASNWER GETS TEN POINTS, SO ANSWER AND EXPLAIN VERY WELL IF YOU WANT TEN POINTS!!!!!!!! Thank You!!!!!!

Answer:
The answer depends on your boss. Talk it over first with your boss. If he is agreeable to it, go for it, but if he presents reservations and seems reluctant, then you have to make a decision--- full time or part-time. Stick with one or the other. You cannot vaccilate with employers. They have companies that need committed workers. Be that!

This all depends on the job you have. If the place you work thinks your qualified to take a full time position and they have a position avalible, then you will have to sell yourself to them. Make sure they understand that you wish to continue working for them. You want more, full time, hours and plan to continue working for them once you start college, at which time you will need to go back to part time.

you could ask your boss if that is something they are willing to let you do, we can not simply say yes or no as we are not in charge of the business you are working at
Justin
Yeah if you tell your boss asap..before he or she make any changes..explain your reason to them..
