What to do for a job interview?

I had an interview today. did i get the job? what do you think?

• ok so this job was an interview for an it job for a pretty big insurance company. there is two interviews to the hiring process and then since its a contract job after that the third step is a call from the human resources to figure out the pay and all. i already had my first interview and passed that with flying colors. today was my 2nd interview. it was with two people. It seemed to me that it went well. the first 8 questions was all personal questions about my motivation, understanding my customer support and why i am fascinated in computers and getting to know me. the 9th question was about my work experience and the 10th one asked me about how i do manual virus removal. at first i did not studder but just said something wrong then corrected it. my thoughts were a little scattered i said windows server instead of delete files from windows folder but i instantly corrected my self. and then i said instantly after i would use windows pe of course to have permissions to get them out. and then went on about also going through start up items with msconfig, delete keys related to virus in registry and or use windows restore if its easier. so i definately got the question right. after that they asked no more technical question. they started to tell me a lot about the job and advertise it to me. they spent about 10 minutes just explaining and telling me all kinds of interesting stuff about the job i did not already know from the first interview. after that the guy said. so you understand that this is a contract job. i said yes so he said that means the next step is to figure out all stuff about payment and all that kinds of stuff and that will need to be done with the contractor another time and HR he was basically saying. I said ok. So he said all right then look for a phone call from us within the next day or two. i said great and then shook his and said to both of them thank you very much for interviewing me. they said it was a pleasure and look for that phone call in the next day or two. i said i will. does this mean i got the job? i did not know if it was appropriet to ask that at the interview. but what do you think does it sound good like i got it. I want to send them an email to thank them for the interview again but i feel bad because i cant find it anywhere. what do you think? does this look good? do you think i got the job?
