Does anyone have a career as a health records systems technologist? What is the salary?
-
Boston Reed College notes that one can make a starting salary of $20-50 per hr working as a health records systems technologist, but I find it hard to believe that you can make that much in that field since it only requires a certificate rather than a degree. I checked online and it says the job starts at $15 per hr. Does anyone know how much they really make? Preferably in California?

Answer:
Minimum wage. Maybe slightly higher in California, but not much. It's a clerical job and you do not need any kind of degree to do that. Those schools are just trying to pull a scam on you.
