Do you have to major in Nursing to become a nurse?

The university I'm going to doesn't have a nursing major; however, I'm not sure if I even want to be a nurse, I would like to have the option. Does one absolutely have to major in nursing to become a nurse? If not, what does it look like for a non-nursing major to eventually become a nurse?

yes you have to major in nursing. however, passing the N-CLEX exam is the only way to become a RN in the United States. why don't you go and job shadow a nurse to help you make the choice?
