Is a kx 65 a good pitbike?

Kawasaki kx 65 or 85 ?

• i want to do motocross but i dont know if a kawasaki kx 65 or 85 would fit me and also can they both make the big motocross jumps im 4 ft 11 in and about 90 pounds

  I think you need to enquire either where you will be racing or from the governing body of mx in your country as there are rules as to how old you have to be to race each bike. This can be different depending upon what country you are in. where I am you can stay on a 65 till 13 but I think in the USA you can only race the 65cc till you are 11, so this should probably have more bearing on what bike you should get and I have known short riders to manage the 85cc bikes if they have no choice. The bigger kids do tend to have an advantage but that is the way it goes. As for what jump size the bikes can do, basically a lot of that comes down to rider ability as of course an 85cc should be able to go further but I have seen better riders on the kx65cc do jumps that other rider on 85cc bikes would not be able to. I used to race the kx65 when younger and they can jump as that is what they are designed for. Of course the suspension needs to be set properly.
