How to make facebook account private?

  • right, i cba anymore with my mum forever going on my account an checking my messages it just really annoys me! Anyway i want my account so that no one can search me, im going to block my mum and dad and all my family on it anyway but she has some of my friends on it so thats why i want it on privet, i am going to change my password so that she cant get onto my account how do i set my account up as privet?

go to account privacy settings > if you want to hide everything from certain people click custom, then you can type in exact names of people who can't see the things you post, photos ect.. may be better for your mum, so they all only see the same thing, but the rest of your friends see everything:) its the little drop down arrow near home > privacy settings > custom > ba, bam. type in names and you are done. you can do this for photos too, just make your way down :D
