How To Test A Pc Speed?

Is 3 mega bite per second enough for Good Internet speed!?

  • My Video clips more than all don't play right! They act as if I have no control over them, sound is running on time but the video is behind and catches up a few seconds every now and then. I have a fair speed in changing pages online but what most bothers is problem with viewing clips on youtube or any clip elsewhere. What problem am I having!? ... DO I need to buy a stronger Internet service !? I thought it was the PC(s) registry that was acting up and maybe virus had gotten into it, but when I try other PC with the same modem ... It is Similar to what I see on the 1st. PC.... So I am sure it is Something else other than PC itself!!!... but still, Is my System corrupt & need to tune up the PC !? ... I have no other clue. When I do the Internet speed test it shows I am having close to 3 mega bite per second [for downloading] ... & .41 mega bite per second [For uploading] Speed

Yes 3mb/s is quite slow. Most cell phone services go between 14mb/s-20mb/s on 4G. It has nothing to do with your computer so don't download any useless software. You will need to contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) for an upgrade. I get about 20mb/s on wifi and 30mb/s on my wired connection. I'm paying a basic plan for cable phone, tv, and internet for around $100

no... 3 megabits are NOT enough thats really small.... really really small.... you want 3 Megabytes, that will get you good download speed :) I have 1MB/s (megabyte per second) and I download big files okay fast, lol I'm not really in a hurry but if speed is what you want you might wanna go higher lol but 1MB/s is really okay for me, I watch all my videos with really no lag. so ya I'd go with the 3MB/s

It will work. But will have some slow downs sometimes. Probably You Tube videos will buffer quite a bit if they're run above 240p quality. I have 6 MB and it does okay.
