How to ship things I sold on eBay?

Where to get shipping box? Sold my first item on eBay?

• I just sold my first item on eBay and I printed out a shipping label from eBay. A medium flat rated box. So, do I go to USPS and get one of those box for free and give it back to them to ship it? Also, where do I buy bubble wraps? I don't need a large quantity. And what other things should I put in the box to secure the item from damaging? (It's glass, camera lens to be exact)

  Congrats! It's very excieting with the first sale. You can order USPS supplies (some free, others cost you) and they will deliver them to you. You can also use Fex Ex and again you can order the free supplies online and they will deliver to you for free. Bubble Wrap and boxes are sold at lots of places, Target, Walmart, Staples, Office Max, Office Dept, etc. Its a great idea to have a variety of sizes available so you don't have to rush out trying to find the right size. I generally keep boxes that I receive just for shipping purposes. I also keep shipping tape on hand and make sure the boxes (even though some come with a sticky side) are sealed. I sent a Fed Ex to Ohio and the whole Fed Ex envelope was torn open. I had everything loose in the envelope and half the stuff never made it. I've learned never to place loose items in a Fed Ex or USPS envelope. Also, place them in an envelope or box with the address again on the package inside just in case. Just make sure if its fragile, place the word fragile on all sides. The containers will be dropped, thrown, etc so make sure your package will be safe for delivery. Have fun.
